Blue 1000 Books Before Kindergarten logo

Families are invited to join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at Cochise County libraries. 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a nationwide challenge that encourages parents and caregivers to regularly read aloud to their children.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cochise County Library District, and children who reach the 1,000-book goal will receive a cute t-shirt or a tote bag courtesy of the Friends!  Registration is open now, and there is no cost to participate.

The Library District is pleased to announce that Culture Passes are now available at all public library locations countywide.

Culture Passes provide admission for two people at participating museums and cultural destinations, and may be checked out by any county resident with a library card.
