Library Status

Many of the public libraries across Cochise County are temporarily closed or offering limited services as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  The table below provides information about the status of each library.

Even at library locations that are closed, staff may be available to answer questions by phone.  If you are unable to reach a staff member at your library, or you have general questions, please call the Library District at 520-432-8930 or email aricketts@cochise.az.gov.

If you have items checked out from a library that is currently closed, please note that due dates will be extended until your library is open and able to accept returns. None of the libraries that are closed will assess overdue fines during this period.

For current information about the COVID-19 response in Cochise County, please visit the Cochise County Coronavirus Response Hub.  You will find additional resources here

Library ebooks, digital audiobooks, and other digital materials are available 24/7, even when the libraries are closed.  As of March 19, you can access ebooks even if you do not have a library card.
