Abstract:
"Unfurl is a collection of poetry and prose that continues Eli Clare's project of exploring queer and disability politics through the everyday events and his connection to the natural world. New poems recollect Clare's experiences coming of age in the movement against HIV/AIDS and tie them to present crises of COVID-19, climate catastrophe, and the ongoing violences of late capital and empire. Clare's distinctly embodied perspective allows him to explore how his disability and the forms of interdependence necessitated by it extend the boundaries of his self into the more-than-human world and into friends, lovers, and comrades"-- Provided by publisher.
